Teams Integration Upgrade

Microsoft will retire the “Incoming Webhook” connector in December 2025, and starting December 31, 2024, it will no longer be possible to create new connectors. For detailed information, refer to the Microsoft Retirement of Office 365 connectors within Microsoft Teams post.

To address this change, we have added a new option to our Teams Automation rules in Golive:

  • Teams Incoming Webhook: this is the legacy behavior, supporting “Incoming Webhook” connectors.

  • Teams Workflows: this is the new behavior, supporting “Teams Workflow” flows.

We recommend choosing the Teams Workflows option when creating new Teams Automation Rules, and migrating existing rules to Teams Workflows as well. Please note that this migration requires a different setup in your Teams configuration. Refer to our Teams integration article for more information.

Color Palette Update

We've refreshed the color palette in our Calendars to align with the official Atlassian color scheme. We have made efforts to minimize any impact on your user experience; however, please note that some Calendar colors may have changed significantly during the transition.

Improvements

  • Read-only Application Screen: Users without the Manage Applications permission can now access the Applications screen in read-only mode.

  • Get Started Improvements: Users can now disable non-mandatory sections within the Get Started guide, by closing them. Closed sections will be excluded from Get Started progress tracking.

  • Scheduling Quick Setup: We’ve updated the Scheduling Quick Setup with new colors and improved sorting options for the calendars. Additionally, the swimlanes' configuration has been refined.

  • Scheduling Rules Verification: Scheduling rules are now verified sequentially and not in parallel. This means that conflicting requests can't both be approved when created simultaneously, preventing potential scheduling conflicts. (Golive Cloud only)

  • Calendar Discard Changes Prompt: A new prompt has been added to the Calendar feature, asking users if they want to discard changes when they have unsaved modifications. This prevents accidental loss of changes.

  • Markdown Editor: We’ve made the Markdown editors wider in narrow Environment List columns, enhancing usability.

  • Horizontal Scroll Bar Visibility: In the Environment List Views, the horizontal scroll bar now appears above the fold instead of at the very bottom. This ensures users can always see and use the scroll bar when needed.

  • Version Display: Versions with too many characters weren't being displayed entirely on some Golive screens. We’re now using the maximum space, and the entire version is always visible on mouse over.

  • Terminology Update: For more clarity, we’ve renamed 'Point' to 'Dot' in the Deployment Logs and Status Changes Logs Calendars display options.

Bug Fixes

  • Scheduling Experience:

    • The Scheduling Quick Setup now correctly uses the Kanban template when creating Jira projects.

    • We’ve addressed an issue where the conflict checking would fail if the Dependent Environments Custom Field had no available values.

    • We’ve fixed an issue where newly created events weren’t displayed immediately in the Environment Detail modal.

    • The drag-and-drop function in the Calendar now correctly prevents issue creation in unauthorized timeline areas.

    • We’ve fixed an issue where dragging and dropping an event a second time on the Calendar failed to trigger any action.

    • The Calendar color tag wasn't displaying correctly when the calendar name spanned two lines.

  • General Fixes:

    • We’ve fixed some attributes in the Environment List Views that weren't aligned correctly in the page layout.

    • Unchecking a Get Started checkbox now saves properly, opening the step modal as expected.

    • The ‘Failed to Clone’ error message now displays the attribute name instead of the ID.

    • We’ve fixed a caching issue where unpinned views were reappearing as pinned.

    • Matrix Views now show up-to-date information in the on-hover dialog.

We appreciate your feedback and thank you for your continued support.
