Instance Data Reset
The Instance Data Reset permanently removes all Golive product data from your Jira instance. This article explains what data is removed, what is preserved, and how to complete the reset safely.
Important
This action cannot be undone.
What Gets Deleted
All Golive product data is permanently deleted.
The following items are not deleted:
REST API tokens.
Golive custom fields and their values.
Jira project settings.
Requirements
Golive Cloud installed on Jira Cloud.
Golive Administrator permission.
Reset Instance Data
Follow these steps to reset Golive Instance Data:
In Golive, click Settings (gear icon) at the top-right.
From the drop down, select Golive Settings.
Select Instance Data Reset.
Choose whether to include sample data by selecting Include sample data after reset.
Click Reset data.
Confirm the action to permanently delete Golive data.
After the reset, all Jira administrators and Jira users are granted the Golive Administrator permission. Review and adjust permissions as needed.
