Date Formats
In order to create Jira issues from a Timeline using drag and drop, Golive needs to know your Jira date format settings. You can change these parameters from the “Date Formats” section:

Jira date format settings is available only to Jira administrators from your instance Advanced settings page (there is no automated way for a third party plugin to get it). That's why you just have to copy/paste values for the jira.date.picker.javascript.format and jira.date.time.picker.javascript.format to their equivalent fields available on the Golive Date Formats tab.

This way, event start and event end date fields are automatically populated when you create an event from an Issue Calendar:

Preferences
Date Mode
Before version 8.5, the app was using the "Legacy" date mode
Default Date Mode
If no time information is provided, the time of a Start Date will always be set at the beginning of the day and the time of an End Date will always be set at the end of the day. This means that an Event starting and finishing on the same date will have a duration of 1 day (recommended settings).
Legacy Date Mode
if no time information is provided, the time of both Start and End Date will be set at the beginning of the day. This means that an Event starting and finishing on the same date will have no duration and will be considered as a milestone (default behaviour before Golive 8.5)
