Manage Environment Details
In this article, you'll find step-by-step instructions on how to mange Environment details using the Environment Details dialog.

Accessing the Environment Details Dialog
Follow these instructions to open the Environment Details dialog from various views:
Matrix View: Click the Labels.
Browser View: Click the Environment you want to edit from the left menu.
List View: Click the Environment Name, double-click on an Environment line, or use the View / Edit option in the Actions menu.
Last Deployments View & Last Status Changes View: Click the Environment Name on each Swimlane.
Update an Environment Field
Access the Environment Details dialog of the Environment you want to update.
Move the cursor over the Field you want to edit.
Click the desired Field.
Info
URLs, email addresses, and line breaks are automatically formatted for display. You can also use Markdown for custom formatting.
Add an Environment Attribute
Access the Environment Details dialog of the Environment you want to add an Attribute.
Select the attribute you want to add from the Add Attribute drop-down, positioned at the bottom of the Attributes section (if needed, click on Show all attributes to display it).
Define the value of the attribute and submit.

Delete an Environment Attribute
Access the Environment Details dialog of the Environment you want to delete an Attribute.
Move the cursor over the field you want to delete.
Click the Delete button (represented by a trash bin icon).
Confirm by clicking the OK button.
Reorder Environment Attributes
Access the Environment Details dialog of the Environment you want to reorder Attributes.
Use the drag-and-drop function to reorder the attributes.
Manage Environment Dependencies

Option 1: Manually Add Dependencies
Access the Environment Details dialog of the Environment you want to manage Dependencies.
Navigate to the Depends on section.
Tip
Check the Dependencies settings of the current application if you can't see the button.
Click the Add dependency (+) button.
Select an existing Environment or create a new one using the + Create new Environment button.
To remove a Dependency, click the X icon positioned on the right of the Dependency.
Option 2: Guess Dependencies
Use this option to automatically populate dependencies and tiers based on the Application configuration. It saves time and reduces the risk of missing critical links.
Access the Environment Details dialog of the Environment you want to manage Dependencies.
Navigate to the Depends on section.
Tip
Check the Dependencies settings of the current application if you can't see the button.
Click the three-dot (⋯) button.
Select Guess dependencies.
Review the suggested dependencies and make adjustments if needed.
Manage Environment Tiers

Add Tiers
Option 1: Guess Tiers
Use this option to automatically populate tiers based on the Application configuration. It saves time and reduces the risk of missing critical links.
Access the Environment Details dialog of the Environment you want to manage tiers.
Navigate to the Tiers section.
Tip
Check the Tiers settings of the current application if you can't see the button.
Click the three-dot (⋯) button.
Select Guess tiers.
Review the suggested tiers and make adjustments if needed.
Option 2: Manually Add Tiers
Access the Environment Details dialog of the Environment you want to manage Tiers.
Click the Add tier button or scroll to the Tiers section.
Tip
Check the Tiers settings of the current application if you can't see the button.
Click + (Add tier).
Follow the on-screen instructions to create the new tier. The process is the same as creating an Environment.

If the tier you need is listed, select it to add it to the Environment. Only orphan tiers—tiers defined in the Application but not linked to any Environment—will appear in the selection list. If the tier is not listed, create a new Environment using the provided steps.
Edit Tiers
Hover over the Environment Tier Name and click the pencil icon to edit it.
Click the Environment Tier Version to update it.
Click the Environment Tier Status to change it.
Click the Environment Tier ID or Name to open the Tier for more editing options.
Update Environment Permission Scheme
Access the Environment Details dialog of the Environment you want to update the Permission Scheme.
Locate and click the locker icon at the upper right corner.
The Applied Permission Scheme section displays the current Permission Scheme used for this Environment. Click on it to open the drop-down and change the Permission Scheme.
In the Your Permissions section, you can review your own permissions for the selected Permission Scheme.

If you can't edit the permission scheme, it may mean you lack the necessary permissions or there's only one scheme available. For more details, refer to the Security & Permissionsdocumentation.
