Environment Statuses
Environment Status is a core concept in Golive, essential for tracking the state of your Environments. In this article, you’ll find instructions on accessing and managing Environment Statuses.
Requirements
You must be Golive Administrator to manage Environment Statuses
Accessing the Environment Statuses Page
In Golive, click the gear icon at the top-right corner of any Golive page.
From the drop-down menu, select Golive Settings.
In the Environments section, select Statuses.
This will open the Environment Statuses page, where you can view and manage all existing statuses.
Managing Environment Statuses
Once on the Environment Statuses page, you can perform the following actions:
Add a New Status: Click the Add Status button to create a new Environment Status. Fill in the required details and save your changes.
Edit an Existing Status: Use the Edit button (represented by a pencil icon) next to the relevant status field and update its details.
Re-order Statuses: Drag and drop statuses to rearrange their order. The drag handle is located on the left side of each row.
Delete a Status: To remove a status, click the Delete button on the right side of the row.
Defining Status Types for Environment KPIs
Golive uses status types to track Environment availability for KPI calculations. The percentage is based on the time an Environment is marked as Available versus the total operational time. For more details, refer to the Environment KPIs documentation.
Defining Status Types
Access the Environment Statuses page.
Find the Status you want to define.
Click the Type column for that status.
Select one of the following mapping options:
Available: Indicates normal operation.
Unavailable: Indicates downtime.
