Environment Configuration

Environment Configuration refers to the state and the assortment of resources within an environment at a specific moment. This configuration includes various types of information:

  • Environment Status: Indicates the current condition of the environment, such as Up, Down, or Booting.

  • Deployed Application: Details the version deployed, dataset version, and other applicative components.

  • Infrastructure: Includes URL, Operating System, hardware information, and credentials.

The Environment Configuration is subject to change over time. Change Management is the process responsible for planning modifications to the environment configuration, such as application deployments, infrastructure upgrades, or creating new environments.

Additionally, unforeseen events can impact the environment configuration, such as server crashes, hardware failures, or software bugs.
