What is an Environment?

A Golive Environment is defined by these 3 mandatory elements:

  • Name (mandatory, must be unique)

  • Application (ex : eCommerce, ERP, Mobile App, etc.)

  • Environment Category (ex : Staging, Production, Test, Development, etc.)

Each Environment has other optional properties:

  • Status (ex : Up, Down, Slow, etc.)

  • Deployed Version (ex : ECOM 1.0.2)

  • URL

  • Attributes that can be configured (ex : Backup Policy, Owner, Database Type, Console URL, etc.)
